O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass
DirtCar Series 2008 Series Finale Taped by Outdoor Channel
Louisville, Kentucky-May 10, 2008- When the 2008 racing season ends
for the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series, the series
champion and the winner of the series finale will be seen and known
nationwide. Series CEO Tom McConnell is pleased to announce that the
O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series and the Outdoor
Channel have come to an agreement for the ’08 series finale event to
be taped by the Outdoor Channel for broadcast at a later date.
The 2008 O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series season finale
is scheduled for Saturday September 20 at Bluegrass Speedway in
Bardstown, KY. The event will be the 10th Annual Kentucky’s Best 50,
featuring the full-fendered, wide-open, clay-slinging, 800 plus
horsepower warriors of the Super Late Model division of the Battle of
the Bluegrass Series, with drivers and teams racing for 50 laps, or 25
miles, around the ½ mile high-banked, David and Anita Ferrell promoted
facility, with the winner taking home $5,000 for their efforts.
The Outdoor Channel will also tape at least two other O’Reilly Battle
of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series Super Late Model division events
during the 2008 racing season as well, with those tracks and events to
be announced at a later date.
