Louisville, Kentucky-April 19, 2008- Rain showers just past midday forced the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Graphic Impressions Super Late Model series event scheduled for April 19 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN to be postponed due to Mother Nature. The event, the 25th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic presented by Bob Poynter Ford of Seymour, has been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday evening, May 10. Track promoter Tim Keithly and the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series apologize for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of this event. The next event on the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series Super Late Model division schedule is Saturday evening, April 26, at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY. The event will be the 11th Annual Spring Sizzler, paying $3,000 to win at the David and Anita Ferrell promoted ½ mile high-banked clay oval. The event will consist of a full schedule of practice, Racing Optics time trials, Graphic Impressions, K&N Performance Engineering, Real Wheels, and Wayne Bowen Racing Supply qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $3,000 to win A-Main for the Super Late Model division of the Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series. The O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series sanctions regional Super Late Model events at tracks in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.
