Kentucky’s Best Signs on as Official Cigarette of the Battle of the Bluegrass Series

LEXINGTON, KY (8/26/2007) - Known as one of the nation’s most competitive regional racing series, the Battle of the Bluegrass Series has recently signed a sponsorship agreement with Kentucky’s Best Cigarettes.  “We are very pleased and excited about Kentucky’s Best becoming the Official Cigarette of the Battle of the Bluegrass Series. This company is one of the largest regional tobacco companies in the United States, and we look forward to a long term relationship”, said Tom McConnell, CEO of Cornerstone Marketing Group.  Cornerstone Marketing is now handling the marketing of the Battle of the Bluegrass Series. “NASCAR had Winston, and now Dirt Racing has Kentucky’s Best”, McConnell also commented.

Kentucky’s Best is the primary brand that Farmers Tobacco Company of Cynthiana, Inc., a family-owned, 4^th generation tobacco farming operation, sells and manufactures. The brand is additive-free, unlike many other brands. “We grow our own tobacco on our farm in Cynthiana, Kentucky, as well as buy from other growers throughout the state of Kentucky. Our cigarettes are made right here in Cynthiana, Kentucky.” said Farmers Tobacco Vice-President, Mike Ammerman. “We know that a lot of smokers attend dirt races, and we are looking to dirt racing as a way to reach out to customers and to inform other adult smokers about Kentucky’s Best”, Ammerman also said.
