“BoB Mod Squad” Rained Out at Moler Raceway Park

Williamsburg, Ohio-June 13, 2008- Heavy afternoon rain showers would force Moler Raceway Park track promoters Kim and Kevin Moler and Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series officials to cancel the Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series event scheduled at the ¼ mile clay oval on Friday evening June 13.

The event was to be the first-ever visit to the Buckeye State for the Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series.  Moler Raceway Park officials will be in contact with Battle of the Bluegrass Series officials at the first of the upcoming week and try to negotiate a suitable date for a possible reschedule date for this event. 

The next event on the Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series docket will take place tomorrow evening, June 14, at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY.  The race will be a 30 lap, $1,500 to win points paying event for the Louisville, KY based series at the Chuckie May promoted ¼ high-banked red clay oval.  The event will consist of a full schedule of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $1,500 to win A-Main for the Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series.
