Tazewell, TN and Joey Kramer of Hanover, IN would pick up second win
of the season and $2,000 for his victory at the 1/3 mile East
Tennessee red clay oval.
Kramer’s victory at “The
Taz” was his fourth series win of the season and 17th career series
win came aboard the Claudette Kramer owned FOX Custom Cabinets/Wild’s

Chassis machine. Stanley Donahoo of White Pine, TN would come home
fourth at the checkered flag, with Wayne James of Newport, TN claiming

Performance Chassis mount.
Kramer would charge to the
lead at the drop of the green flag, with Brandon Green, Stanley
Donahoo, Kurt Owens, and Skylar Marlar in tow. The first of four
caution flags would fly on lap 2 when John Harrell, Shane Back, and
Kevin Copher would wreck, with Aaron Ogle and Billy Palmer becoming
involved as well. The lap 2 restart would also be voided as Josh
Henry would slow on the track with a flat tire. On the restart,
Marlar would take fourth from Owens, only to lose the spot back to
Owens on lap 4. Kramer would begin the process of working slower
traffic on lap 6, with Don Adams getting by Marlar and making his way
into the top five on lap 7.
The front five would
remain the same as the race approached the one-third distance on lap
10 and would remain the same as the pack saw the halfway signal on lap
15. Donahoo would mount a charge on Green for second and would take
the spot on lap 17, with the third caution of the race happening on
lap 18 when fourth place Owens would loop his machine, with third
place Green pulling pitside with a flat tire under the caution period,
would get new rubber, and return at the rear of the field. The
restart would see Kramer continue to hold the top spot, with Adams
going to second, followed by Donahoo, Marlar, and Wayne James would
now be fifth.
The final caution would
fly on lap 21 with Green and Aaron Ogle would tangle, with both cars
being finished for the night. The final restart would see Marlar take
third from Donahoo, with Shawn Tolson taking the fifth slot from
James. James would retake the fifth spot from Tolson on lap 23 and
the front five would be the same until the drop of the checkered
flag. The remainder of the top ten were Robbie Gullion, Shawn Tolson,
Kelly Warren, Tim York, and Kurt Owens.
