KY -- The NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified
Series has released its tentative schedule for 2006 as
Kentucky's premier Open Wheel Modified Series looks ahead to the
upcoming racing season with each scheduled event paying $1500 to
win.
The NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series
begins its third season at Harold Hardgrove's Lake Cumberland
Speedway on Saturday, April 22nd. Races two and three find
the series at
Junction City
,
KY
's Ponderosa Speedway on Friday, May 19th and
Richmond
,
KY
's Richmond Raceway on Saturday, May 20th. The series
closes out the month of May with the 6th Annual Mod Squad Bash
at
Bardstown
,
KY
's Bluegrass Speedway on Saturday, May 27th.
Saturday, June 3rd, the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel
Modifieds head to eastern
Kentucky
for the first trip of the year to the 201
Speedway
. The series ventures back to
Burnside
,
KY
's Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday, July 1st.
The BoB "Mod Squad" starts the month of August back at
Sitka
,
KY
's 201
Speedway
on Saturday, August 5th. A double-header weekend follows
with visits to Larry Yantz's Ponderosa Speedway on Friday,
August 11th and David & Anita Ferrell's Bluegrass Speedway
on Saturday, August 12th for the 6th Annual Bluegrass Rumble.
The series ends August with their second trip of the year to the
Richmond Raceway on Saturday, August 19th.
The 2006 season for the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel
Modified Series is scheduled to come a close in September as the
Series makes its third visit of the season to Richmond Raceway
on Saturday, September 16th and the final race of the season on
Saturday, September 23rd at the Lake Cumberland Speedway.
