Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series at Tazewell August 15 Cancelled 

 

Louisville, KY- August 4, 2009- The Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series presented by Graphic Impressions regrets to announce the cancellation of the series event scheduled for Saturday August 15 at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN. 

 

Tazewell Speedway track promoter Gary Hall has other scheduling issues come up and he, along with Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series officials, regret having to cancel this event, as a suitable date for both sides could not be worked out. 

 

The next scheduled event for the Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series is set for Saturday August 8 at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY.  This event will be a 30 lap, $1,500 to win event that will feature a full event of practice, Racing Optics time trials, REAL Racing Wheels qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win A-Main.

*August 8- 201 Speedway (Sitka, KY): 30 laps/$1,500 to win

*August 21- Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, KY): 5th Annual Summer Shootout-$2,000 to win

*September 25- Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, OH): Modified Mania- 30 laps/$1,500 to win
