O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Rained Out at Portsmouth Raceway Park

Louisville, KY-July 25, 2009- The O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Graphic Impressions has seen Mother Nature rear her head and force the cancellation of this evening’s scheduled O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Series Super Late Model event at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, OH.               

Track promoters Donna Rayburn and Chuck Greenslate and series officials will conference at the first of the upcoming work week to see if there is a suitable make-up date that is agreeable for both the track and series officials, so at this time a make date is to be announced.           

The next scheduled events for America’s most competitive regional touring series will feature a doubleheader of action in Central Kentucky with the 7th Annual John Bradshaw Memorial at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY on Friday evening July 31 in what will be a 50 lap, $5,000 to win main event.  On the following evening, Saturday August 1, the series will visit Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY for the 11th Annual Bluegrass 50, featuring the O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Models in a 50 lap, $5,000 to win main event.
